We have a great new resource in the Wilkinson Library at the fire station museum. The Franklin County Genealogical Society allowed us to copy their records of The Mt. Vernon Optic Herald. We have disks with the complete data – images for nearly every issue of the Optic from the year 1907 until 1997.
